devendra banhart, you sir are a bastard

i’ve been getting into devendra banhard lately. at first i didn’t want to get into him because he seemed too hip and a little too out there. but after a couple listens to his older works i saw the light.

he’s like a more current, psychedelic version of elliot smith without all the crying (and with less knife in the chest too).

now the only thing i hate him for is his dating of the lovely ms portman.
