gallery is nice but occasionally irritating

Since I set up the blog, I figured I’d try to edit my gallery installation to be slightly more consistent. I found a nice theme that kind of blends, I messed around with the cache settings to make things faster, and I finally got the theme to reflect on all the albums. However…

I still can’t find the spot in the code where it calls the lame gallery logo in the header. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

my first blog

This is my first foray into blogdom. let me know if there are things you think my blog should have that it doesn’t currently. i want to find the balance of content vs. clutter and i think it’s currently at a good balance.

last.fm recently played tracks is good, and random pic is good. i could add another random gallery to the mix, or a recent albums or whatnot but i don’t know if that will be too much.
i know, i know. it needs more flash!

devendra banhart, you sir are a bastard

i’ve been getting into devendra banhard lately. at first i didn’t want to get into him because he seemed too hip and a little too out there. but after a couple listens to his older works i saw the light.

he’s like a more current, psychedelic version of elliot smith without all the crying (and with less knife in the chest too).

now the only thing i hate him for is his dating of the lovely ms portman.
